Druadan: Yes I know this fella, he called me 'Gramps' and I called him 'Chubs' - Shame he got backtrooped for something so stupid but it was only two weeks.

Andy: Yes I did pass out with my Diamond but they changed their minds about me going on the Kings Badge board as I was only in 880 troop for ...

Well done mate

Well done Andy. Its an awesome feeling isn't it and that 30 miler is emotional. Do I know you mate? I am the old diamond geezer (ex 874 Tp/Hunter). I passed out with 880 Troop a week ago and I joined your troop for Cheeky Wednesday with a bunch of Hunter lads. By the way I got 40 cdo together with 5 ...

It was nerves - lockers were getting windmilled; press-ups getting dished out in the hundreds; Nod's were reporting incorrectly and mincing their words; training team were getting p*ssed. I must admit that I got a bit of a sweat-on too!

Statistic: I didn't join RMR in the end as a WO1 talked me out ...

Jon - I played back that 5 second gym scene and was laughing on how bad our troop was with those intros. Things that stood out was 'Faint-Boys' (The lad that collapsed during the first locker inspection) rather delayed response with stretching his arms up and the lads nearest to the camera jumping ...

Yes I was in his troop for 20 weeks. Due to his background and experience he was a great asset to the troop. He was unofficially part of the training team. I was always impressed by his quick changes and was very fit considering his slightly chubbier build. He also helped me out with map reading as ...

PTI words of command

I know this may sound a little chad but I could never work out the PTI words of command for jumping to attention! It is something like..

"With a jump, downwords, arms, stretch, bla bla"

Does anyone know the correct words of command for this action?

Also what are the words of command for the MSC ...

Jon and I are in 874 Troop and we have 858's old training team. We are a small troop that started off with 30 and picked up 2 NAMET Biffs. Our training team are very hard but fare. They have very high standards and are extremely professional and I am certain that we will all be better soldiers when ...

Yes it is well out of order that we need to buy things like torches; bungees and paracord. By the way, the latter is extremely tough 'string' that is used for putting up your shelter.

Zinc oxide tape is usually white in colour and ultra sticky. When it has been on your feet for a couple of days, it can rip your skin off if you are not careful with taking it off. You do get issued a few roles of it for your troop but it is never enough to go around. Go to a proper first aid shop ...
