I know that the AFCO medicals are nice and easy, I've had two for the navy its just on the medical sheet you get from the RAf theres alot of medical type things with 'abnormal' or 'normal' check boxes next to them, so I was just wondering are they there for certain trade/commission types, for a more ...

Is there a medical when you get to halton? When I got my medical forms to fill in there was a check list including ext. genitalia, anus, hernial orifices and flow rate (pee), I would have thought these things were checked at halton or am I wrong?

I think they teach you that during basic, but how come I haven't seen anyone else thinking about joining as a survey recorder? Is it not a very good choice or just not very popular because its a small non-aggressive (i'd imagine) specialization.

Everest trip

I'm guessing that the RN/RM Everest trip is only open to members of the RN mountaineering club so this is a question to any members, do you need to pass any climbing challanges to be considered or is it more of a name in a hat to be able to go?

I was looking at the example questions on that site about finding the time taken to cover a certain distance in a given speed, when finding an answer is their any margin for error or does the answer have to be to the second?

Chris, how long did it take you about from when you asked to join up to when you got to raleigh? I applied as officer but now im doubting that im gonna pass the AIB so was wondering if it would be quicker to switch to rating or try the AIB a few times

Thanks
