I'll bet you have a right old laugh with "Auschwitz Shower" though - we need a babysitter on Saturday - is he available? I'm trying not to make a judgement but I'd imagine people on sites like that to be "a bit odd" - it conjures up images of the slightly pathetique Kraftwerk-type gang on "The Big Lubowski". I've seen these militarists up close in Montana. Weird does not describe the insularity, and paranoia they create amongst their clan. Anybody with tracked 109s in their back garden and fallout shelters for emergency use in case the feds come calling needs loads of help. Hang about while I realign my SF GPMG and Mortars. NOT.

There are 14,000 members on that discussion board, I might know a handful of them and none of them have bomb shelters or anything of that sort. If el prez has experience with militarists hes got one over on me. Ive never even met anyone like that here (U.S.) and Im inclined to believe its mostly played up suburban lore.

Thanks Count for that far from useless info. I did say "conjures up images of" though - can't you see it? When I hear of Nazi apologists and white supremecists I just think that there's some kind of traumatic incident in childhood that's to blame - no doubt I'm wrong but there always seems something a bit deviant about it: dominate everyone....no dominate me etc.

....and, by the way, my take on Nihilism is that values are objectively baseless - the base comes from the subjective will of an individual - the ubermensch. Not sure that 'nihilists' (if such a group can exist outside of "The Big Lubowski" given what is said above) would make any ontological points on what can be known or communicated. Nietszche has been described as the arch-nihilist and also claimed by fascists as their mentor but he was unique and I think he was actually quite a piss-taker and that quite a lot of what he says is tongue in cheek. Pure genius

I'm serious,these nutters have bought land in Emigrant, Montana, approx 25 North of Yellowstone's northern gate, built their own log cabin/wooden houses, and fenced their 'community'. They hate being watched, so my friend and i would sit on his ranch, which overlooks their main compound, and watch them through binos. The Winchesters, and Colts made the exercise a little safer. There were tracked howitzers dug in, and if memory serves, an old tank; and as I said a large fall-out shelter. Guns were standard, and displayed at all times, as in keep out, and don't mess with us. Long live the land of the free . I'm contacting my mate to discover the name of this band of no-hopers.
