it creates dependance, and when you quit using it you will feel crap, and be nowhere as fit as you thought.
If you are a power athlete i.e sprinter rugby player it's a great supplement to taek and there are some suggestions it could help endurance athletes (I don't know much about this though).
And for hypertrophy i.e. weight gain the 8-12 rep range is good for increasing muscle higher weigh and lower reps would focus more on strength although you would obviously still gain muscle.

secondly, yes it is naturally occuring, but your body cant really replicate the levels that taking it as a supplement gives.
the dependancy comes from needing that level of it. similar to testosterone and adreniline when used as a supplement. both are naturally occuring but your body gets used to having elevated levels of them, and when you stop, you go through withdrawl, as you have a much reduced level.
the increased water retention it promotes means your muscles have more water to use, which helps stave off lactic acid build up, so yes sprinting would improve, as well as endurance because lactic acid builds up when you do a long run.
chak, i wouldnt really recommend it. all these supplements need to be taken consistantly to keep the increased performance.
passing the prmc with a gut full of creatine may get you a pass, but when you come to RT you may find that you arent fit enough and sink like a lead weight.
also, if/when i pass my prmc, i want to know that i did it fair and square. theres no pride for me in a pass if it was because i was full of enhancers.
do some fizz and start pulling your finger out and you wont need creatine.
