We watched their green lid ceremony in the falklands hall back when we were still luminods (untill yesteday :o  )

Were you sat down at the bottom to one side watching? they was a few lads who got injured down there, and one asked someone in our troop to take photos.

Was a good troop though, 26 origionals :o

Good that is. Was it a clear day when you did it?

I walked up there once before, but it was a little hazy so I couldn't see too far. On a clear day, I can see right up the valley and it's quite easy to make out the distinct shape of it, and I'm right down near the mouth of the River Neath.

Good to hear Mach, you might pass out before me yet! Yeah Beardo I was on the chairs at the side, I was the only one with crutches and a cap comforter.

Mach, no that was the other lad from my troop who biffed himself on the 9 miler, I was there on crutches but in rig. I'm hoping for 888 Tp on the 22nd July...pushing it a bit but if I miss that and get 889 with you I'll have no-one coming to the pass out as absolutely everyone seems to be on holiday that week!

Toffee, another one in fractures! There's already enough of us for a troop! See you in the gym...

Mach/anyone at CTC, are you sure 889 pass out on the 4th (which is actually the 5th, unless they're doing it on a Thurs?) as leave starts then? Not a case of tests, buffer week, King's Squad when back from leave?
