Five eighty-five puts a whole new complexion on the matter
27000 X 5.85 is one hundred and fifty-seven thousand, nine hundred and fifty quid :o
And thank you Steve Evans, for wishing that I was new, too

Babs moi luvver, mwa mwa. Yer tiz,
The real link is
www.servicepals.com

Calling it surplusspals was my twisted mind`s way of saying pals like Nobber and MOD are most definately surpluss.
This is what they claim
"ServicePals.com the only forces website to be endorsed by the Royal British Legion and is a great way to find your forces mates and meet new friends online. The site is open to everyone with an interest in the military."
When I clicked Royal Marines, this is what I got,
» 1 Assault Squadron RM» 1 Raiding Squadron RM» 101 RM Brigade (1939-42)» 102 RM Brigade (1940-43)» 103 RM Brigade (1940-42)» 104 RM (Training) Brigade (1942-43)» 109 Troop CTCRM» 10th RM Battalion, 47 RM Cdo (1941-46)» 116 Infantry Brigade RM (1945-46)» 117 Infantry Brigade RM (1945)» 11th RM Battalion (1940-44)» 12th RM Battalion (1941-42)» 13 Recruit Troop 1971» 15th RM Battalion (1940-43)» 16 Squad RM» 18th RM (Mobile) Battalion and Mobile Companies (1940-44)» 19th RM Battalion and RM Battalions at Scapa Flow (1940-45)» 1st battalion RM 1940-1943» 1st RM Battalion (1940-43)» 2 Assault Squadron RM
Not grouped as you would expect, i.e. 3Cdo Bde, 45, 42, 40, etc.
Iwonder if RBL are aware of how the site operates,
Tried to register as Mr Missed Muster with a username of noncy-boy, but got knocked back. When I have more time, I shall return ( as Gen McWhopper once said)

Harry, they now know The RBL do, I was contacted by members of the Media because of what the Nobbler had to say about myself and my dead son.

They, also had a list of insults that the Nobbler had dished out to ex service personnel, there were some there that even I was amazed at and along with those insults came the Endorsment from the RBL.

I contacted the RBL, and advised them of the error of the Nobblers ways as will the Media.

It should hit the Tabliods in the near future :)
Oh and before I forget, i did contact the site and asked the Nobbler if it would not be wiser to retract his Derisive remarks he had uttered against the ex sevices personnel, 'Silence was the Loud reply' I advised him that I had been contacted and that I in turn would be contacting the RBL.

It would appear that his royal Nobbler is above reproach and those who will not pay homage to him are DOOOOOMMMED!
so I is DOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMED! :P

Let him call me as he will, I have broad shoulders, but his favourite Torment were those who needed a friend, and that makes him a Bullying Barsteward

I'm not sure it would work, the machine would not recognise the various real addresses incoming with your data.
I think it would be fun to wind the prat up, but as with wannabees on here, they are best ignored, eventually climbing back into their sad holes.
Let sleeping prats lie.
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

Prez you are right he traces the IP addresses, and logs the country of origin :-?

I tried it once, just to get on and give him a piece of my mind, cause that would have made him intelligent but the server picked up my IP even though I am on a dial up connection
