Take your GCSE certificates (if you have them) with you and you shouldn't have to do the tests (there's a numeracy and language one). Hardly any of us were told to do this when I went down and we all had to waste about an hour and a half doing the tests, they are totally pointless in my opinion (very easy).

Go to www.mfat.co.uk. There are a couple of PRMC diaries on there which are worth a read as they go into a lot of detail about what happens.

On a basic level though, it goes something like this.

Day 1

AM - 3 mile run in 22mins30secs

PM - Gym test 1: bleep test, max press ups in 2 mins, max sit ups in 2 mins, max chin ups - no time limit.

Day 2

AM - Zip slide, aerial confidence test, assault course, determination test (bottom field)

PM - Gym test 2: a selection of different obstacles where you work as a team or on your own and go all out for about 20-30 mins. This is followed by a series of sprints in the gym that lasts around 15 minutes.

Before you insult someone, first walk a mile in their shoes, that way when you insult them, you are a mile away and you have their shoes.

Sounds like the PRMC has changed a bit since I done it?

Used to be 1st day, Gym Test 1 AM, Assault course PM
Day 2, 3 mile run AM followed by Gym Test 2 PM
