Getting Back In!

Hi

Joined the RAF Regiment last March and came out of training after only a month.

I want to go back in to the RAF but perhaps as an engineer or firefighter but have to wait a year, just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of it being more difficult to get in to the service the second time ...

hi mate, ive just come back from my TG course. I left early because i felt i chose the wrong trade however i would say not to worry a great deal about initial interview as they ask very basic stuff such as family life and things you cant really revise for.

Good luck hope you enjoy it more then i did!

Regiment Success

Hey Lads

Applied for Regiment on December 6th and am due to leave for my Trainee Gunner course on 30th March! Passed final interview today and all is signed! 6 months of hard work are ahead of me:)

hi mate, im about to begin my 6 months training on 30th of March and have been told the following. You are not allowed home until you have done your initial 4 weeks however after that as long as your section is doing well then you should get most weekends off as long as your not on exercise etc ...

Hey thought i would just drop it in to conversation that i passed aptitude today for the RAF Regiment. Actually found it quite hard due to the lack of time you get to do the questions although i still had double the points required for the Reg. Anyway next step is interview on Wednesday!

Well decided to pursue my dreams of joining the Royal Air Force last week after looking at Marines as well, however i have not applied as Pilot which was always my intentions, guess i just don't have the confidence to go ahead with it.

Ended signing up for RAF Regiment which does interest me as i ...
