Hey Lads

Applied for Regiment on December 6th and am due to leave for my Trainee Gunner course on 30th March! Passed final interview today and all is signed! 6 months of hard work are ahead of me:)

well done mate! as someone in the application process myself i know its tough to get into no matter what branch/trade u go for!

no probs re vist to oz m8
ive got a few cycling buds trying to get me to vist
1 prob i only get 28days a year :(

Still and all, it all looks pretty much the same as when I did it in 1980. The only thing I can honestly say we didn't do was the urban warfare training. That said, everyone did urban training on field squadrons during NITAT - prior to tours.
