What the RAF is looking for is the CREAMING ON THE CAKE as to speak. Yours grades are good as a basic requirement. What you need is to prove that your a team player / great leader / and hell you can run for days on end without sweating!

Also prove to the markers that your STAND OUT of the crowd ...

But it should'nt to much of a bother. Something a quick mind and quick wit can cover up.

I hope you're not suggesting that if you can't see a target on your radar screen, or coming towards you, you could 'cover it up'...

:o Just cover up, or simply yawn and blag your way through it.

Obviously ...

DONT use these AS revision! These are just GENERAL stuff "LIKE" the test. My friend (nice guy) studied on these HARDCORE and found that the test themselves were laid out different, written different, and far more confusing then these simple questions that these guides offer.

For the records... I ...

Adding to the "height" subject, if your over 6" you need to look else where. Realistically they are looking for 5"9-5"11. As thats a suitable vary in a cockpit.

I lead this up to a recent story in the newspaper, a young lad wished to become a pilot. Grade A student, fit as a horse, but 1 defining ...

Nathan, best thing to do is go through the selection process, then within the medical it will assess your eye sight specifically for that trade. But it should'nt to much of a bother. Something a quick mind and quick wit can cover up.

I have'nt personally been there yet read loads on it. Its mainly breaking you down mentally and physically very demanding. Nothing a average soldier can't handle, as this is your FOUNDATION training to become "ANYTHING" within the RAF.

Simply master the 1.5miles run under 12 minutes and your sorted.

I chose 1 and only 1 choice.. Simply that was "Aerial Erector". Some said that was a bad choice. But personally, I think having one... knowing that I have one path... makes my mind setted to that target and everything to obtain that target is more the easier without anyone conflictions (besides from ...

I almost gave up at 7minutes... but i looked in the mirror (mirrors ALL over in the gym i was at for the PJFT) and thought... do you want to succeed? OR figh for your country! :P So i pegged it and maintained my current speed (12kmph Setting) and jogged the rest.

My advice.. run run run run run run ...
