Basic airmen/women training
Hey guys just come out of the navy due to medical reason which are now sorted also due to the fact that the dicipline and fitness is shit. I was wondering what the dicipline and fitness is like at Halton.
If you are determined enough to do something, then you will succeed at anything.

I have'nt personally been there yet read loads on it. Its mainly breaking you down mentally and physically very demanding. Nothing a average soldier can't handle, as this is your FOUNDATION training to become "ANYTHING" within the RAF.
Simply master the 1.5miles run under 12 minutes and your sorted.

It's not actually all that demanding, unless you are 17 and living away from home for the first time, never having had to do your own ironing etc.
I don't imagine you will have any problems duggers if you were ok at Raleigh. You may find you get stiffed for senior bod from the start, just because you've already got military experience. It's a good chance to impress, but they will expect higher standards from you than the rest of the kids in your flight.
Any questions just PM me, happy to help.
PS. Don't remember ever having to do the mile and a half in a set time at Halton. The fitness test is a bleep test, same as you're used to.

You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.
