Hey Everyone!

I'm very pleased to tell you all that today, at Nottingham, I was offered a contract with the RAF, which I gladly signed!! : :D :D

I've got my train tickets, kit list...... I'm all ready to go on the 17th January 2007!

Proudest moment of my life to date and I though I'd share it ...

I GOT IT :D :D

I believe it's called the "1ACC" which stands for "No. 1 Air Control Centre" and operates with a "Type 101" radar

What is the RAF's "DEPLOYABLE RADAR UNIT" called?

Hi again all!
I've been searchin the net for some info on the deployable radar unit that Aerospace systems operators will work on according to my trade information paper! Could anybody be specific as regarding any information on it/them!

Hey Andrew!

I've been given a propsed entry date on the 17th Jan 2007. I'm almost sure you're right about the offer of service....... thats what my recruiter said anyway.... just to check that you still want to join and that you've kept your nose clean.. so on & so forth!

Hey Andrew!

Keep up the good work m8! the fitness test isnt that hard m8!! believe me! Although i do run often!! I'm really into keeping fit atm..... I think it's best really to be in best of condition for when I arrive at Halton!

Hey Mike,

Nice 2 hear from you.... congrats aswell 4 joining the RAF! Great career ahead of ye! ASop is the abreviation 4 an Aerospace Systems Operator! They come under Air Operations Support I think!!

I'm trying to swat up on all areas of an ASop so what I've done is ask 4 a Trade Information ...

Hi Everyone,

I've passed all of the current interviews/tests and and now ready for my offer of service interview to see me fit to join the RAF on the 17th Jan 2007 :D I've overcome alot to get this far as I failed my medical earlier on this year.... for being.... basically to fat!! My BMI was 31 ...
