im coming form bracknell, mission but gotta be done lol, im running 5-6miles every other day, feeling bit ill adm so been resting

What should I wear up to basic training? Is it smart dress, or jeans and t-shirt?

Also do we have to take a suit with us, the kit list they gave me isn't the clearest!!

Does anyone know know if you can take a laptop can be taken as a small item to basic?

Fitness is going okay I guess, I just don't want to be the most unfit when I get there.

With regards to stopping training, I think I'll give myself a couple of rest days, and one big run before I stop!

I'm going to basic training soon and reading through my list of things to get, it says 7 pairs of underwear and socks, just out of interest what kinds of underwear is best?? Loose boxers or tight ones for sport, etc. the same thing with socks, do I want thick sports ones or thin office ones ...

Hey just got my intake date today, looks like I'll be joining you on the egg hunt on Easter Monday

When should my AFCO Sgt contact me to tell me my intake date, or should I ring them??

One more question I have, can I still not start basic training i.e if I fail run time on BFT what will happen? Would I be kicked out or put into a PT troop?

iI know it seems like a silly thing to ask, but do you have to have really good teeth. one of the guys at selection said that if you have bad teeth you can get turned away when you arrive for phase 1

If anyone could shed some light on this it would be sound.

My run time was 9.40 on the dot. Got in because static lift was 140 so I got extended run time, but I'm going to improve a lot more before basic.
