Stay low and move fast.
The best way is for your NCO's not to know your name because 9/10 the NCO will only remember a recruits name for being gobby or a mong.
Stick with it and remember know matter how hard your finding it mate it doesn't compare to the job the lads from 2 and 3 para will be doing the next 6 months in Afghanistan on OP HERRICK 8.
Good luck.

I'd assume they give us all that on our travel documents but I heard we have to be there preferably before 5pm so they can get all the admin sorted

Hi boys I'm there too. How's the fitness going, and is anyone stopping training a week before as someone from my AFCO suggested, to let the body rest? Your thoughts on this please.

Fitness is going okay I guess, I just don't want to be the most unfit when I get there.

With regards to stopping training, I think I'll give myself a couple of rest days, and one big run before I stop!

What should I wear up to basic training? Is it smart dress, or jeans and t-shirt?

Also do we have to take a suit with us, the kit list they gave me isn't the clearest!!

A smart dress would probably go down best!

There is another thread near the top here with a detailed kit list linked in it.
