Just to let you guys know everything turned out ok. The recruiting sergeant said he'll call me back later in the week and tell me when I can go for the next RSC. I was a bit worried that I might have to pay for the tickets but he never even mentioned it, hopefully I can get my ankle sorted out ...

Cancelling RSC

I'm supposed to be going to Glencorse on Tuesday for my RSC, unfortunately I've twisted my ankle and can hardly walk so I cant pass the physical parts of the RSC.
I'm planning on ringing the recruiting office tomorrow but what I want to know is will this effect my chances of completing the RSC when ...

Hmm.. So not such a good idea after all then :D

Is it possible though, would I after 4 years or so be able to leave the army and then apply again as an officer?

The reason I'm asking this is because I really don't want to go to college, I've just recently left a sports course and I hated it, as I ...

Sandhurst

I need some advice and so I turn to this site excellent forum again.

First I'll need to tell you my current qualifications.
At the moment I have only 2 GCSE of C+ standard and no A levels.
Would it be possible for me to, after 4 years in the army (if I get in of course), to apply to become an ...

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm certainly leaning towards the RAC as its what I've always wanted and planned to do.
One of the reasons that I was hesitating a bit is because the Sergeant that I spoke was in the RAC and he was really keen on me joining the REME for some reason.

RAC or REME?

Ok, I guess I'll start off by saying I need some advice. I am not sure whether to join the RAC or to train as a vehicle mechanic, really I had no intention of joining the REME when I first applied to the army but after speaking to to the recruiting sergeant who told me I would be a "f@#k idiot" to ...

Rage,
I'm sure you'll be OK height wise but pop down the AFCO and get it confirmed by them.
Im going on Monday, since that was the only time I could get some time off. I've just received my free video and all I can say is that I'm looking forward to it.

Height

I've just found this forum today and I've been reading through it, learning a lot about what is required to join the army. I've sent away for information and a video or something and am looking forward to going down to the local army office in the next few days. However I have one concern, you see ...
