Two of our blokes were attached to the RA (TA) for a tour of iraq last year, (we are infantry), they both came back saying that the whole unit they were attached to were doing purely an infantry job .... all be it not as well as the infantry ....... :wink:

If air assault is not jumping out of planes then why are the REME troops in air assault require para wings, same for the Royal Engineers, their unit which is called air assault requires people who have done p-coy
