Royal is now issued with the new combat 95 waterproofs ( the ones without the pockets). I did, and some may still have the older type but mine were taken off me when we were given our 95s. This was a shame since the old type did actually seem waterproof unlike the 95 set which are rotten, a similar ...

All good fun though, and after phase 1 passout you used to get the troop to run the troop number into mud with PTI precision.
Yup, always gratefull that I did not end up in "888" Troop.
