Apologies for not replying quicker, i dont spend a lot of time on the internet anymore.

After a couple of minor setbacks everything is back on track & i will be attending a PGAC next month. Real fired up & raring to go.

I have to admit that i did look upon the RAF Regiment as a 'lesser' option ...

if you are above the height/weight ratio allowed you will have to drop weight irrespective of you body composition or fitness.

That's what i wanted to hear! No dramas with the gloves - got some decent warm waterproof gloves & more woolly/thermal hats than you can shake a stick at.

In referance to the kit you took on the PGAC, ive got the stuff advised in the letter from the AFCO but what type of stuff would you recommend to take other than that for general wear while not in the uniform issued with? id say keep it under this topic heading (general discussion) but make your own thread, that way you can make it personal to you & hopefully get a decent reponse.

Like you say fevernova, it can be difficult to get the question you're asking answered. Let's hope sarah can get hers answered ...
