Hey AequitasBellum,
I know all about the winged demons mate. I've been attacked more times than I can count. In Australia there are Magpies everywhere and in the spring through to summer they routinely attack anyone who comes near their nests. Their mode of attack is known as 'swooping', and as the ...

Hey AirForce,
My dad served in the RAN for 22 years, and was HMAS Melbourne's supply officer for about 5 of those in the mid sixties. I asked him about this toxic dust thingy, and he didn't seem too concerned by it all. He said he's not heard of anyone he knows, who served on Melbourne, becoming ...

They wave the five year rule for people from Australia, NZ, South Africa and Canada. Trust me, I did it myself earlier this year, so you have no problem in that regard.
Cheers mate,
Josh.

Hey mate,
There's been a few lads on here asking the same thing, including myself a couple of years ago, and the answer is a most definate YES, commonwealth citizens can indeed join the British forces. Although they cannot join as officers, unless of course you have dual British citizenship.
Feel ...

I would definately take the scholarship mate, as the guys have said, Royal will always be there later. I believe you can join up to the age of 28, so that would give you ten or eleven years from now to join if you decided to. Not to mention the fact of a free university education to boot!

Hey Dave,
I'm currently waitlisted to begin training as a RN MA, and I hope to go commando down the line. Basically, the Commando MA's (medical assistant) serve in the commando units themselves. I believe hospitals and the like are usually staffed by regular MA's, afterall not much point training an ...

Hey Mark,
I remember you from back then, good to hear everything's looking up for you now. I myself failed my PRMC back in July, not due to injury, just poor fitness really. With regards to Harry's post, I would really reccommend heaps of distance swimming if you're able to mate, it's super ...

Just out of interest, is Lee Clegg still in prison, how much time was he sentenced to, and how much has he/did he serve?
I've heard of his case before, sounds like a load of bollocks to me.
Cheers guys,
Josh.

I saw this Chucky, I had a good laugh. Unfortunately someone got a picture of it, which the Army ended up finding. I feel sorry for the blokes actually, it's a pity the brass didn't see the humour in it.

Hey guys,
While I was on PRMC in July, our corporal told us about this. Apparently it's part of a survival exercise where you are dropped off in Dartmoor or Woodbury Common and given a rabbit, which you do indeed eat (or go hungry). As far as I've heard it's got nothing to do with proving anything ...

Dunno about the medication question Gunn, but just a thought about your not knowing what you want to do mate: Don't worry to much about it! We're all still young, well, you, me and a few others are, (no offense mods), so you've got plenty of time to figure it all out.
I've failed PRMC before too ...

What W.Mitty says is correct, you are not required to perform regains or fireman's carries on PRMC.
However you must complete the high obstacle confidence test and do piggy back style carries. A little easier, but still tough when you're cactus!
Cheers guys,
Josh.
