Army obituaries

Post by bigbart »

Maybe an obituary section for the Army should be added? As we know, not only RM's and Paras are killed in action. I know a lot of changes are being made, but is this an idea in the pipeline?

BigBart.... I see your point......But I feel that ONE Obit's columns should cover the whole of the British Forces.. I as a Bootie, would like to pass on my condolences to those who have lost a love one, no matter what branch of the services the deceased came from.... Do we segregate our war dead at our cenotaphs?

Yes, one obituary section would be okay, wouldn't it? I just raised the point because currently there's only obituary sections under the Royal and Para forums.

Rather than having one for each service, why not just have a general one, it could even be on it's own. This should free up a bit of computer space and keep every one happy at the same time.
