GCSE certificates

Post by suicidal_tendencies77 »

Does anyone know if the Army require the actual GCSE certificates when you go for selection? or can you just produce a letter from your school saying what your grades are?

I never bothered picking up my certificates when i left school  just glad to ditch the hell hole :D and as far as i m aware i believe that to get replacment certificates you have to pay 30 quid per certificate!!

Hi,

I've handed in my application, with the appropriate information filled out, they phoned me back the next morning, saying everything was fine.

I’ve taken my BARB test and so forth, and there has been no indication of needing the certificates. So I’m pretty sure they won’t ask you for them. Apart from if your BARB score is low, and your GCSE results are claimed to be “sky high”.

Must be different depending on what AFCO you go to. I was told to bring in my certificates the day I came in for my BARB test.

I think if your going for a job that needs some academic qualifications you have to prove you have them. I was told i needed to produce them before going further. I also dont have my certificates, but i do have the slips of paper you get through the post, the AFCO said these were proof enough.
