In a fit of brilliance I managed to stick my hand into the cooling fan on a pontiac, the steel fan is stuck on the end of the crankshaft and doesn't stop just 'cos some clown sticks his hand in there.

I thought I had lost some finger ends but it turned out to look and feel worse than it was. One fracture and several deep cuts, I only took two days off then went back to work. I can't be doing with nobbers that milk the sick proceedure and leave the rest of the team to struggle un-necessarily.

Once (Thats a bloody laugh!) fell in the cut in Feb, climbed out. And had to yomp 2 miles back to the car.

About a week later went down with pneumonia. God but I was ill.

Could not claim ought as I work for myself. Now I have a insurance scheme that covers me if taken ill.

Touch Wood have never needed to claim off it.

Once got caught on a hydraulic pump box cover (kind used on tail lifts). Tore a hole in the back of my trousers and piece of flesh from the right cheek. (Never turn the other cheek in this situation.) :-?

Once I turned up to a house fire, persons reported, with smoke coming out of the downstairs windows.I booted the front door in and went into the hallway with my B.A. partner ,opened a door and a 9 stone rotwieller took
an instant dislike to me and took a chunk out of my leg then disappeared out the front door.
