VISA!!!

Post by LOKI VINK »

Hi all

I am a little bit unsure about the whole visa and traveling to UK to get into the army. . .

this is all i want to do in my live and I will take the risk to go to the UK even if i am broke and have to rob a bank  to get the money to get there, only thing is i would like to know that if i get a visitors visa that is valid for 6 months, will the army take me with a visitors visa or do i need a working holiday visa, because i keep hearing people say you can do it on a visitors visa. . and if it expires and i do get into the Army. . can i extend my time on my visa or do the army overide the visa saying im working for them now?

Speak to the Army first as they are cutting back on overseas recruits

Not a Commonwealth Country.
Citizenship would be a major problem.

so sorry about the late reply and not mentioning about me being in south Africa.
Ok so they are cutting back on recruitment, so thats one thing that stops me, , then the common wealth thing, just another brick wall . . but ill do it, i have to get in to the army, I am 24 and do not really have much life experience, but are not one those guys that talk about going to the army or doing something and pulling out on the last minute. Miller has helped me quite a but, so would like to thank him. . but any other information as where ill be able to stay in the UK or any other info that can help me would be really nice. thanx guys

Not an MoD policy matter at all.
