I really enjoyed Chris Ryan's "The one that got away".
I have no idea whose version (as in his or McNab's) is the more accurate, I just really enjoyed both but Ryan's escape story was a more exciting read for me.

David Stirling (Biography of the founder of the SAS, by a former member of the SAS)
Allan Hoe

Also suggest you look for any survival book by Lofty Wiseman, former member of the SAS.
Although not keen on getting wet.

For the SBS;

SBS (The nearest you will get to an official history of the SBS)
John Parker

The Cockleshell Heroes(The one not to miss. Early forerunner of the RM SBS)
C.E.Lucas Phillips

The Frogmen of Burma(A history of one of early forerunners of the SBS, by its founder)
Bruce S Wright

Bloody Heroes
Damian Lewis

Loads of books on the SAS.
On the SBS, less than the fingers of one hand.

Yeah i did here that there are different accounts of what happened in Bravo Two Zero. 'The Real Bravo Two Zero' says that both are telling 'lies' about what happened, so it will be interesting to here from Chris Ryans view as ive heard McNab's. It does sound interesting, Ryan has the longest E and E ever in SAS history.

2. Can't remember the name, but the one by Billy Ratcliffe

There are plenty of fcition books that deal with both, but as far as non-fiction (ish) goes:

Big Boys Rules - Mark Urban. The SAS and the secret struggle against the IRA.
The SAS's Secret War - Mark Urban.

The Dirty War - Martin Dillon. Covert Ops in Northern Ireland, which mentions the SAS several times.

The Feathermen - Sir Ranulph Fiennes. A novel claimed to be based on true events.
