Right then I'm having a bit of trouble deciding on what to pick for my career.
I'm just wondering how you decided on what you wanted to do and how you eliminated the jobs you didn't want to do.

First thing you should do is see what you can do, i.e from the scores for your BARB test.
I chose the infantry, more so the Parachute Regiment because I had a bit of a family connection and have always been interested in what they do. At the end of the day it's personnel choice, because you have to want it (whatever it may be) 100%, as that is what will drive you through the tough times, especially the early days in training!
Good luck mate!

What jobs are open to you.
What are your interests.
Do you want to pick a trade that may help you obtain a job when you leave the Army.
Do you want to see combat, i.e. teeth arms etc.
Looking back I think I would have preferred a trade or tried the RMP.
I was also interested in the Hussars, Lancers, Blues and Royals etc.
You need to give it a lot of though and do plenty research.
