Riding VS Running...

Post by maunder123 »

Hey all, I love running its great But I prefer to ride my bike,

I was wondering What is better for improving run times/overall fitness? As Riding uses all running muscles and more..... + you can ride longer distances and for longer!

Whilst with running you learn the motions for the run, half muscles used in riding but its also fun...

i personally prefer riding and go for a ride every night and run every other night or if its raining i run then also.

So whats your verdict?

All exercise is good for you, but you need to mix it up as you use different muscles for different things

What Tab says. Get a mix, Running, Cycling, Swimming, Rowing or whatever else you want. Just remember not to overdo it.

For run times if thats what you want to get down i personally would say running, as it did help me to get my run time down. But you should mix and match your exercising.
