Passed Selection

hey guys i passed selection today at ADSC Lichfield.
did prity well and got offered my job in the infantry, just gota wait to get my date now but ive been told early April

Congratulations....is that a standard waiting period between selection and phase 1 or case by case?

prity much a case by case, depending on intake or avaliability of the job you have chosen

Congrats man. I just came back from there last week passed for the guards, got told april aswell because its like the start of the new recruiting year or something, tempted to go back and try for paras though.

Congrats on passing mate was it easier than you thought it was going to be or harder? and did you get a dental check up?

had a nice long chat to my ACIO today and decided that im gonna stay and go for the guards parachute plantoon, then maybe attempt a transfer over in a few years which im happy with.

Also got my date today .. 5th April.. maybe you might get the same.

it was exactly as i was expecting as im a rejoiner so done it all b4.
If you have done your homework and got your fitness to a good level selection is no problem. you dont have to be super fit, just show really good effort and team working skills. and lots of respect for you training staff

got my intake date aswell today and as soon as i finish at ITC ill be going to germany wohoo

Just reading over this, and im sure weve said this before. there is no dental check at Selection.

this is true Dawber but there will be one in the medicals first week of phaze one or cic whichever your doing. so make sure everything is done by then or they could be funny about it

Just make sure you get to the dentist before you start. ask for all fillings and removals etc when you go and just get its all ship-ship
