I like blue ones with wheels in the heel, fark me my BFT's improved?
As your going parareg why not Nike Air Pegasus?
Did you know Nike was the Greek God of Triumph? Didnt even know motorbikes was invented then init?
Get yourself down to a runners shop to check your gait and pronation and get them to recommend a pair. If you cant afford them buy one and hop.
Chin chin
Nurse is my bath ready, ducky gone a strange kind of yellow?

We have a store in Canada that watches you run, and quite scientifically, tells you how your foot-falls....I.E over -pronation, over rotation, flat footed etc etc.
From there you would buy shoes which match you footsie style.

Do a search on it. But what Dinger Bell said is true, you should be able to find good stores liked that all over the place.
As for Asics, don't be lured in by the brand. There are other brands which are just as good and will be cheaper, such as Brooks. If it's a good shop, after they've checked what Doc said, they'll offer you a few different shoes. See which one feels the best when you run in it, not which one looks best/is most expensive.

I just went down to sports direct and got myself some Adidas Climacool running shoes. They were 30 winners (£30) and like before I go for a run they are cool and dry when i finish, even after 6 miles! Best £30 ive spent in months.
I probably couldnt afford the Scientific aproach to how my foot hits the ground or what sort of bubble i should have in the back, etc. but thats what I did and im happy about it.
But then again if you can get cheap running shoes with that approach im not going to be too happy

It's not the make of the trainer that matters, it's how they fit you. Don't go to JJB or Sports Direct, cos they're pillocks who sell cheap shoes. Go to a specialist running shop and get your running style looked at by someone who know's what they're doing. I spent £55 on a pair of New Balance shoes that have lasted me nearly two years and many many miles.
Ive got the following-

These I use all the time and i do recomend, but if you do end up running through a deep puddle your feet will get wet but other than that great for road and woods etc.
and I also have some Nike V-Dart Leather but in black, only got these the other day so have not tryed them as yet but they look good lol.
