Hey guys, forgot about you guys for a while until someone added me, i joined this forum before i left canada 2 years ago to join the marines, and this forum was awesome, it helped me and informed me, anywho just got back from a 7 month tour of afghan and if anyone has any questions, ask them and ill give you the answers.

all in all it was a good experience, day to day living was grim by standards, the food wasn't great it was curry everynight and it would be load with chili powder so if you liked hot food then your were golden but for someone who has a bad stomach for hot food then uh oh! We lived in mud huts, they are resonable for the summer time because they keep the cold in at night but when winter hits they still keep the cold in and its freezing. We saw a good amount of action, and took the fight to them well and were lucky enough that nobody from our company got injured. so all in all good tour!
