Good point I just wish people did more to promote the Royal British Legion. It's a bit irresponsible of the Sun to promote this new charity in the week before November 11th - it'll just take away money from the Legion. Still - I've given a fiver (don't have a go I'm a student OK I need to eat )

It does not matter a jot what you give to the legion, even a few pence, every little helps. Come this forthcoming rememberance Sunday I will meet up with my mate Geordie (Ex Para) and we will as per normal do our thing at 1100hrs and from then on aviod the Church Service and have a few wets in various hostelries with our ladies.

He will take the piss out of me and I will take the piss out of him whilst our ladies will look on and take the piss out of both of us. Don't get me wrong people, I always remember the guys who are not there with me. Ditto Geordie.

The guy I donated £1 to today (I don't have that much money) just so happened to be in the Rifles, so I got a good old chat with him about training along with an OAP who seemed to know what the training was like at Catterick as well, definaly the best spent £1
