Ex Nod

Post by Darren82 »

Hello all, haven't been on here for years!

I'll cut the life story out and get to the point. Came out of training Week 29 (old syllabus) after passing tests and failing final exercise. I failed it physically and mentally and not ashamed to say.

Had a lot of things going on at home too that like a nobber I couldn't ignore for 7 days. This was all back in July 2004 and am only now reapplying. At 25 I've never been fitter, and have spent close up to 2 years training to get back amongst it.

I'm currently at the 'med docs from CTC' stage so hopefully once that's sorted it's just like anyone else. AFCO tests, PRMC, training

Probably not the wisest idea I've ever had putting myself through training twice but it's a means to an end!

Hope everyones well, what little advice I can give out I'll gladly donate and that as they say, is that!

Well you seem to have the "Right Shaped Balls" going for RM training twice. This time round I reckon you should be a bit better in your head as your not a youngun with no idea about whats coming up when you start the 32 weeks of pure fun! :D

Just playing the waiting game at the moment, got med docs to come through and then it's up to the CPO at the AFCO of all people if my application can continue or not.

Early september I'm expecting to hear something back so august is gonna be a tad stressful!
