Hello mate! Me too!
I'm pretty sure it's ok but as with all your personal kit it's only ok if you use it where you're supposed to ie foundation block and during certain times.
I know that's the case with mobile phone's and Ipod's etc so I'm assuming it's the same!

Cya tomorrow!

The question is not stupid. To be honest you will find very little opportunity to have the time to take happy snappies whilst in Recruit Training.

Mainly because your going to be either knackered and in your pit zonked out or cleaning and ironing your kit for the next day around about 0300hrs in the morning.

But take heart! Once you have got your act together ref your personnal admin the thought of lugging a camera around so you can take pics will be right at the bottom of your "Things I need to do" list.

yor aloud to take a laptop. but they reccomend that any personal items i.e laptops should not be brought for foundation phase. bring 1 after you weekend leave. you should have been issued a recruit handbook after your PRMC. ive read it an what ive said is in the book.

Whilst partaking of Cdo training 30 odd years ago only one person per section was allowed to wear a watch. I dare say it's changed these days but con't shell out a ruck of dosh on a quality watch.

Nine times out of ten it will get broke/waterlogged/ or even knicked! Just get a cheap un that does things like tell the right time 24/7.

When I was down there it was painful to not wear a watch at all times in the field, especially in phase 2

Carting a grandfather clock must have been painful in your days eh Artist? :D

Just kidding mate, I would advise if your gonna get a cheap watch might aswell get a spare to keep in bergan. Velcro straps are a massive no-no also!

My old troops sergeant hated them, anything velcro infact

Go sit in a silent room at 3am and pull some velcro loose, the noise it makes is rather loud and rather untactical
