PRMC

Post by mlewis123 »

Hi everyone,

Most of you won't know me as I don't post here very often but I have just got my date for my PRMC, its the 4th September.

For those of you that ask how long it takes from Application to PRMC I can say that if you do everything as quickly as you can it will fly by.
I put my application in on the 4th April and had to miss my first Psychcometric test and I have still managed to complete all the stages (exc. PRMC) in 2 months, the only reason that my PRMC is so far away is because I feel that I could use that time to get fully prepared for it otherwise I probally could have book it for sometime this month.

Anyway, sorry for the long winded post.

P.s. If anyone is on the same PRMC it would be nice to hear from you so please PM me.

Matt.

Hello mate, what are your scores; pressups in 2 minutes, situps in 2 minutes, pull ups, 1.5 mile and 3 mile time?

Hi gjd1986,

my scores are;

Pressups in 2 mins - 50
Situps in 2 mins - 60
Pullups - 12
1.5 Mile - 9mins
3 Mile - 20mins 48s

My pressups, situps and pullups are tested after a fast paced 2mile run then finished with a 2mile recovery jog

Could definetly do with getting better scores but with the 12 weeks I have till my PRMC I feel I should be ok, fingers crossed.

With those scores, I would say you are ready for PRMC now, day 1 at least. Day 2 is all in your mind, so use your time to focus and prepare yourself mentally. And good luck.

Its a gentle rise for most of the way back (the best effort bit). Not very steep, but is still uphill. If you can do 4m in 28 all uphill, you shouldnt have too much of a problem.

yeah i wouldn't worry its pretty flat, its only the end of the warm up and start of the timed 1.5 miler that there is a small incline in the small country lane :D
