"The Royal Marines Circuit Training" book
Saw this in the mfat shop section:

Anyone have it?
Looked ok, thought it might give me more types of exercises to do and add a bit more 'structure' to my training...
Cheers,
Jock

Hi all, I agree with all the above comments too, very good book, easy to understand, with good descriptions /photos and gives good progress with exercises. The days to day programme includes days of 'active rest' - when not having a circuit day you do activities such as running/swimming/cycling. Although good for general all round fitness and muscular endurance, it will not improve your cardiovascular fitness as much as programmes that include more running, although you could up the distance/intensity of the runs timetabled to put more miles in etc and get a greater specificity of training for the runs included in the POC/PRC and afterwards. A good book by the same author is 'The Royal Marines Total Fitness' by the same author, Robin Eggar. This has a more varied exercise plan. Worth a look if you can get your hands on it. Cheers.
For anyone interested, I typed up a circuit (The Beast) I took from the book a little while ago. Personally it is one of my favourites!

I did the same and got an email the next day stating it was out of print. I have seen it kicking around ebay for upwards of twenty pound which is taking the mick.
Does anyone own the book and have a scanner I'm sure a lot of guys on here would like to read it and be very thankful.
