I have about zero respect for Halliburton, their closeness to the administration and the process by which they are awarded contracts, but I don't trust that.

One, it is the most blatent political attack piece, any reasonable person would demand to see some other evidence based on that alone.

Two, if this was true on the scale it says, then there would be an epidemic of illness among US troops far beyond the standard desert runs. They wouldn't be able to operate as an armed force.

Just out of interest, a lot of our services in Afghan were provided by KBR, which from that is a subsidiary of Halliburton. Any chance of these issues carrying over?
