So, just where does one put .........

Post by flighty »

........ one's rabbit?

Hand luggage or in one's suitcase?

I am enquiring on behalf of a mate who is jetting off to Cyprus at the weekend and whose hubby lacks a bit of imagination in the bedroom department.

She wants to take her unused Xmas pressie with her but doesn't want showing up at the x-ray machine at Ringway.

I shouted up in the pub on Friday but was met with zero responses as to where the offending paraphenalia should travel.

I can't advise her as I am not one for this sort of malarky. :o But I told her there would be a lot of folk on this 'ere forum who would be 'in the know.'

Help, please. You will make a lady very happy. :D

Aviation Security Act is quite clear on this subject!
The article should be secured in hold luggage with the power source ( either dry or wet cell stored separately in sealed packages!. The power cells should be declared at the check in, as regulations differ from one airline to the next!

Failing that .......Insert friend minus batteries.... and buy some cheapies when you get to Adnan Menderes!

If it goes in the hold luggage tell 'your friend' to remove the batteries from the item as vibrating baggage tends to give handlers cause for concern.

Listen up! If it was meself who wanted to know about transporting thingummyjigs to foreign climes, then I think I know you all well enough by now to admit it.

Put in their hand luggage, and be upfront about it.
