Hi - another question on the AIB
Tired searching for stuff on the PLT, but couldnt find much. Basically this is the part of the AIB which im worried about most - as its the unknown to a certain extent.
Can anyone give me any examples of what you have to do in the PLT's. i.e a scenario and what equipment is used.
Are the scenarios fairly simple to work out or is it quite likley that you might not have a clue what to do even after studying the scenario. (this is what im worried about!!)
Thanks in advance

Don't worry about it - you will be briefed the day before about the process and how to do everything in a safe way. The tasks are all different, but they can all be done using some combination of the techniques shown the day before. The thing to do is not to panic or get flustered if you can't finish the task in time, as long as you work well as a team, shout out your commands loud and clear, keep things moving, and if someone else is in charge then help him by shouting any suggestions to him; don't chat among yourselves.

Sorry, forgot to say, in terms of general scenarios, they will all generally involve getting your team (plus an object perhaps) across the mat or across the pool using a few fixed objects, various different lengths of planks, and sometimes swinging ropes. You will be taught how to use all these the day before.
