Can someone clarify the rank structure in Australia. Apparently a WO2 is equivalent to a CPO in the RAN and a Flight Sergeant in the RAAF, and all three are senior to a Staff Sergeant. Does that mean that CPOs and FSgts are warrant officers down under.
Bit confusing.

Badges of Rank - Australian Defence Forces
A CPO, WO2 and FSGT are equivalent Ranks.
There is no Navy or Air Force equivalent Rank to an Army Staff Sergeant.
There is also no equivalent Navy or Air Force Rank to an Army Lance Corporal.
