Latest Airman/Airwoman recruitment update.

Post by rawli »

I have been speaking to two RAF boarding officers from OASC whilst at Grantown last week and they have told me that next year there will be no vacancies for ANY trades except RAF regiment of which there are 396 places. The army have also stopped recruting for 6 months. The AFCOs will still take applications but nothing is likely to happen until 2006! Didn't find out situation for Officer branches or Airman Aircrew wxcept that they are still wanting aircrew and the wait for pilots to begin fsat jet training is currently two and a half years and finishing IOT!

was goin for regiment but just this morning got a letter through saying i cant re-apply until july 2007 due to having asthma symptoms in last 4 years, i was in receipt of medication yes but never took it and have passed relevent asthma tests to say i am clear but im sure it will do no good

i really now have no clue what to do for the next 3 years, theres nothing i specifically have in mind whatsoever and just feel gutted

maybe downin a few lagers will sort me, wont do so good as for my trainin tho
