Hey Dirk,
I believe the extra 2 weeks in the RM training is mainly for extra weapons training, specifically training on the Minimi LMG which has recently entered widespread service in the RM.
Hopefully one of the more knowledgable members of the forums could help with this one more than me. Guys?
Cheers mate,
Josh.
