But before i go i was just wondering if there are any useful tips or anything that people have found have helped them in the past. But i would also like to thank everyone on this site for there help and experience on certain topics.

Good luck. I believe that the Recruit and a few other guys from the forum will also be starting on Monday. All the best to you lot - I will hopefully see some of you down there. I'll be two troops behind you, so you can fill me in on what to expect.

You poor bugger

It is worth it though - I'd love to have a crack at it now that it's much easier and they've got birds doing it as well ( joking)

Chin up - you'll have a Globe and Laurel on your swede on Monday (good feeling) - it's a start

Good luck, always keep smiling, it really pisses the training team off; and when they are jarred off with you, your mates will also benefit from the experience.
You will all be doing the requisite press-ups. 8)

I know what you mean when you say "Its only pain" but pain really does hurt. lol. i am sure i will have quite a laugh though as one of my very good mates will be there on the same day as me its quite funny because his surname is wood and mine is woods.

El Prez probably has the best advice. I remember a particularly savage beasting on exercise 'gruesome twosome'. It was that bad that I had to have a little chuckle to myself and looked up to find someone else doing the same. We've been great oppo's ever since. Try not to laugh at the training team though - the pain factor will click up a few notches if you do

Well like you all say its only pain. I'll have to remember its not the boy scouts im joining but the Royal marines. Apart from not laughing at the training team is there any more advice that you old and bold can provide.

Good look Rambo ! Remember to never ever give up as like you said this is what you've always wanted.
I'll be down there the same time as you doing my PRMC so for your first couple of days you can calm your nerves by pissing yourself at my poor and laughable attempts to pass.

Good look again mate. Benno 0X
pain is just weakness leaving the body !

Rambo, most has been said, but enjoy yourself, take the piss at every opportunity, always look on the bright side of life,Keep your eyes and ears pinned back, and only gob off if you know what your gobbing off about, keep your self and your kit up to scratch, and remember, they ain`t there to kill you, just to see how far You can go, and always tell yourself in times of stress and hardship, "I`m a Rubber Ducky, They Can`t crack Me"

and don`t forget to keep us informed of your progress.

Now, get your arse down to Deepest Darkest Devon
