C4 related question

Post by 127.0.0.1 »

EDIT: (maybe this will make more sense to you ppl)

If I had a "real live" pack of C4 weighing 8 pounds, could I take a "real live" M1A1 Abrams Tank out of commision?

Simple questions deserve simple answers.

I don't mean to be silly, but I doubt you'll get much advice coming on a military forum out of the blue with scant details asking how much explosives you need to stop an Abram tank :o.

Youd be better off climbing onto the tank, knocking on the hatch, waiting for the commander to show his head and clubbing the Bas*ard to death with the C4.

Archie,
Sorry man but what kind of question is that? Its like saying "Is it true you could throw rocks at an A-10 Tank Buster and knock it down?
So anyway Archie, how have you been?

Whitey

If you got the pilot on the temple with a ninja star I bet he would crash.

I'm sure I've done that in some game or other so it must be possible.

Having said thta, there was a freak case in Vietnam where a U.S. fighter was brough down by a Montegnard with a crossbow. The Montegnard was apparently quoted as saying, "Holy sh**!"

The main similarity between this thread and handling C4 with bare hands is that you get one hell of a headache!

Why would it give you a headache handling it, I can understand it would give you one when it went off bang, but handling, please explain, I know V little about explosives,

Ta muchly.

I'm not sure about the new stuff. Engineers I've talked to say it's OK. But the chemicals in the older stuff would be absorbed throught he skin and give one hell of a pounding headache.
