Hey will i get travel expenses paid for if i travel for the medical and the PGAC course, and has anyone ever travelled from n.ireland, because i dont have a clue on how to get there. cheers jim

yep itll all be paid for, from NI it'll probably be a flight as opposed to a ferry. They will give you all the information that you need.

You'll get a travel warrant from the AFCO and you can claim back up to 3 days lost earnings if you are working...a maximum of £72 I think (depending on what you would have otherwise earnt).

when I went on my PGAC about a month ago now, we had a lad from N.Ireland come over. RAF payed all the expenses etc. He was a real laugh, one of the ones I got on with most :)

If i decide to drive, will the still pay for travel, ie petrol money?
