The only thing i can think of that happened to me was that; I was wearing my bag on one shoulder, whilst carrying heavy text books etc during sixth form. After a while of exercise (without the bag Obviously) my right shoulder would completely knack. When i started wearing my bag correctly the pains stopped.
so i dont suppose you've been weight bearing with just one shoulder?

Fevernova,
You need to go down to Lympstone with the intention of passing, otherwise there is no point you turning up. If you feel you are going to fail for fitness reasons, get a later date and prepare adequately.
There is enough information on the forum about the PRMC, so you shouldnt need 'learning experience'.
Like robj said, if you going there thinking you will fail, then you will.

yeah i agree with that, stupid to go down there with the wrong attitude.
Fevernova, about your shoulder/back pain.I have the same problem(especially on long runs),is it a sharp pain or just aches?.I think its caused by the movment of your arms when you are running. Its not doing any damage, just a little bit of pain.In a perverse way this is a good thing, now you can test your determination and guts by running with this pain...

It's pretty common, what you're doing is running with your shoulders tensed up too much. Try relaxing them and don't bother pumping your arms hard unless you are sprinting.

just going to do alot of runing from now to my date and give it my all. worked before.
i also sometimes get pains in the bottem of my back maybe that has something to do with only stretching my legs.

by the sounds of all this your posture whilst running may be poor. should be runing standing tall with a slight forward lean of torso. arms, shoulders and face should all be relaxed. if these areas of tense your running will be much less efficient. if your lower back is aching may due to weakness in the abs. also your back may be slightly arched whilst running leading to it aching. however if its sharp pain get it looked at.

The reason it could be due to the abs is if the lower abdominals are weak at maintaining posture the lower back has to take the strain. Doing sit ups will not necessarily strengthen the abs in a way that will help them maintain posture. But it may not even be that. If it persist see a someone about it as it may eventually lead to a worse injury.
