I'm talking about the book......
how good do u think the 'fighting fit' workout is............. it lasts 4 months if i remember correctly..... would i bring u up to adequate fitness for a prmc in 4 months (CV side of things only of course). Also i have another question.... the book has a royal marines commando workout near the back, that is shorter......... what is this for exactly... is it for the commando test week or for the prmc? THANKS!

The commando program in the book is desinged for soldiers who are planning to attempt the 8 week all-arms commando course; not the 30-week course and it is desinged for a soldier who is already fairly fit.
The fighting fit programme is very gradually progressive and is ideal for training for the PRMC, plus add in the the press-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups.

Pitch, pitch, Goddamn your soul
The more you pitch the less you'll roll
Or roll, roll, you sonofabitch
The more you roll the less you'll pitch.

I have to agree the Royal Marine Commandos Circuit training book is the best, by Dieter Lorraine ( i think thats right ?:S). But anyway it gives you basis to design your own circuits after your 8 week course that they suggest. Then you can go onto do the "Beast" or "SBS challenge".
Its written by two Marine PTIs they will obviously know there stuff.
So take heed to there advise!!!!!
