I'M BACK-CHUNKY

Post by chunky from york »

Just to let you all know that I'm slowly getting back to normal, after the renal biopsy ( I have a kidney, transplanted from a very brave wife ). When the doctors said I had to rest, they meant lie in bed for four or five days and only watch TV if it was not going to raise my blood pressure.

However, I ignored that and then had a 'flu vaccine, so I ended up in bed for a fortnight. I'm allowed up for an today, ditto tommorw then two hours etc, etc,

So I'm off to plow through the banter and see what you have been up to.

Welcome back Chunky. Good excuse except that we know about the Regimental Dinner and many of us have reached that age where a hangover takes days rather than hours to recover from. Glad that everything seems OK and we are all glad to have one of the valued contributors back amongst us.
