Heya folks....

Post by OliCad »

Hi there people. I'm Oliver and I'm living at present in Dundee, Scotland. I've been unemployed since Xmas 2002 through my own choice and I now want to join the Royal Navy for a few reasons.

I have a one year old daughter that I want to have a decent start in life be it with an absent father with me away at sea. But I guess it's part of the price to pay.

I hope that I can pass the first 3 weeks of the initial training cos I guess that's the make or break period! If I make it to the interview at week three with a positive attitude, then that'll be me happy for a fair few years.

Anyway, I look forward to possibly seeing some of you guys around.

Oliver.

I wanted submariners but as I'm not too keen on the looks of the Dive Tank, and I didn't have good enuff qualifications, I'm doing Operator Mechanic - Comms.

There's an interview in week three where you get asked if you're happy and I fifgure that if I've managed to keep up to speed (excuse the pun) then I'll feel ok and not get any probs. But I think I gotta get used to being told what to do! That'll be one of my biggest weaknesses.
