To purchase or not to purchase???

Post by Maverick00 »

When I had my AFCO interview blokey told me that i should get some boots, break em in and train in em once a week. Now, do i splash out and get a new pair or do i buy a buggered old pair at under half the price??? I would splash but only if i get to take em with me (if i pass POC that is!). Anyone shed any light on this matter for a hard up student?

Get the boots! Seriously mate they make a hell of a difference to your training as they are heavy and cumbersome. I bought a new pair as the old ones are moulded to someone elses feet.

Use ther above address theyr'e £35 new, don't know why I'm being helpful cabbage head! Only joking. The boots situation is FUBAR, apparenty the army orderd loads which were defective and returned .so all sorts of crap is being issued, I've seen about three different types issued.Buy your own ones, theyre good for hill walking if nothing else
