Anyone here from Worcester, Malvern or surrounding?

Sorry to use the forum like this but just asking if any potential paras (or marines or anything elses) live around here and would be interested in training together.

Send me a pm or reply.

Later;
Mat.
Dodging the bullets and dodging the shells,
Passing the enemy and Airborne he yells,
Killing them here, and killing them there,
This young para is past giving care.

para recruit2 (or Joe Crow)

I take it from your username that you either intend, are about to or have just joined the Parachute Regiment (regular or TA). If so best of luck.

Apart from myself, there are only a couple of former Para's posting on this site (Tab, Snatch Squad) so if you need some words of wisdom you have shit out big time!!!

When do you start training, there are one or two other lads that have posted who are getting ready to join up, so you may get some tips from them.

You referred to 1 Para in another post, that's my old Battalion send me a PM with some names there's still a chance I might know them.

I'm gearing up to join the regular parachute regiment. I'm currently in the ta but it's almost a joke.

I've noticed the sever lack of ex paras on here, but I'm sure word will get around.

As for 1 para i don't know any names - all I know is the lads that were instructing us were the same ones who'd taken part in the west side boys attack.

Good to hear from someone who's been there and done it. I'm off for a run.

Thanks for the support;
Mat.

ABI, 1 Para was a username utilised by that prat calling himself "Airborne" amongst others, he had 3 or 4 on the go at one time, and Lean Green on the Para regt site, i think that was what your nebie was referring to.
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

Forgot to say.. I don't have a definate date for training yet. I'm not unfit (Walking with weight isn't a problem and I could hammer out pressups all day) but I'm trying to get my mile and a half run time down as it's p.ss poor at the moment :-?

El Prez - i mentioned having met a couple of 1 para lads on another post.

Thanks again;
Mat.
