How do I make a name change?

Post by Rockape1ce »

I have just joined your ranks with considerable difficulty. I was not allowed to register under any but my own full name. How do I now change this name to a 'nom-de-plume' for use on the site?

Hi Clive,

When you hit on REGISTER, the first question is username. That is where you put in your nom de plume, just go through the rest. We now know who you are Clive Hickson.

Aye - Andy.

Thanks Andy, I had tried that method 4 times but the site always kicked me back to "Registration" and a bunch of empty boxes. Then, when I tried to log-in I was told my log-in was invalid. Probably I was not waiting long enough for validation.

Fred mate, consider it done. Your name is now officially Reginald Aloyissius Herbert Archibald Molestrangler. Nice ring to it eh? Congratulations. :P

CONFUSED?

Lo Mike,
Would you like the name I was christened with or what my old man called me? The latter was Sh*thead but, as Jan says, I preferred supercalafragilisticexpiallidocios. But the registration machine restricted the number of letters I could use. Restricted me in total actually. Must have been trying to tell me something.

Jan was christened 'Antidisestablishemntterrianism' but we shortened that for her too. :o

But one day I'll get my kit sorted and bed made up.

By the way, sorry to tell you this, but I am also one of those Blue Jobbies mentioned before. And from that other site with the sh*t management. :agrue:
